Serenity

s/v Serenity

I have posted before about the choice of an Island Packet 35 as our cruising boat. I was interested in full keeled ocean capable boat which I felt would be safer for us because of our lack of experience...more forgiving if you will. Serenity has been a freshwater boat but was being upgraded and prepared for saltwater cruising by her previous owners. She was not put in the water and kept in storage, (inside) in 2011. I purchased Serenity in June 2012 after 20 months in storage. Serenity is in great shape for a 21 year old boat, as was verified by the marine survey.
