Sailing again...

We finally left Annapolis this morning. After a short delay..the bridge does not open until 9:00 a.m. starting in November, we had a great sail to Solomons Island. We are anchored tonight in the main harbor. There are five boats anchored here, two of which are from Canada. It is a little cold tonight, letting us know that we need to move south in a hurry. I am still not comfortable with anchoring, and constantly look to see if we have moved...so far we have not. I suppose I will get more comfortable as we anchor more.
Chesapeake Bay is beautiful. I wish I had more time to explore this area. It seems to be a great place to sail. You could spend a whole summer here and not see it all. We hope to be in Norfolk by Sunday. We get to spend a couple more days sailing down the bay, and the weather is supposed to be good.
