Sail tomorrow...

We will do our first off shore all night trip tomorrow. It should take us 20 to 24 hours. We will then decide whether to stop at Cape May or sail up Delaware Bay. I will not be able to post for a day or so, but if you are interested you can check our position by clicking on our spot tracker. I will be updating that as we sail. We mostly worked today...boat work, laundry, cleaning, and getting ready to sail. We appear to have a good weather window for our trip. Our hope is that the weather is good because there is no place that is easy access to escape bad weather on the NJ coast. The inlets can be dangerous.
We went out for a nice dinner tonight, with a cruising couple, Jeff and Neala, and Jeff's son Grady, who is helping them get to Annapolis before he flies home. They will be leaving New York tomorrow as well. I will post about the sail in a few days...

Foggy early this a.m. Look at all the sticks...lots of sailboats.

Shirl feeding a swan. This bird actually makes boats go around him. Got to love that. I think it is a him...to be honest I did not check.

While Shirl could only feed him, I taught him a trick. This one is "stretch your neck out real far."

View from the marina...the new towers being built...never forget!
