Still in Buffalo...

The weather did not cooperate today. It rained most of the day. The mast will be pulled tomorrow. We walked 1.5 miles to a hardware store today to get six 2" x 4" x 8's to make mast cradles. I built those today and we removed the boom. When the mast is in the cradle we will spend some time strapping it down. Then we need to top off our fuel...this marina does not have diesel fuel. We are anxious to begin our transit of the Erie Canal. Below is a map of the canal. As you can see we have some motoring to do. I think the next several days will be very relaxing...a nice boat ride. We will take a lot of pictures!
